LISCOMBE TO TANGIER

Sunday, August 3 - Day 44 of our trip

So we have been traveling just over 6 weeks.  Seems much longer.

We left Liscombe Lodge at 11 am after doing our laundry there at the Lodge, and thanking Chester for all his help.  Chester is the dockmaster and jack of all trades there and it seems pretty much runs the place, outside of the office.  He was great.

We made out way back down the river to the ocean, and traveled 43 miles in haze, fog. rain, but no wind, to Tangier Harbor, we anchored in a lovely secluded setting,   Nice anchorage in about 14 feet water with mud bottom. After a bit the sun came out.  We are in a lovely cove, can see several homes but no other boats around.  Quiet evening with light winds.
