CHIPMAN POINT TO BURLINGTON

Nice half day trip north, arriving at Burlington just before noon.  Breezy, with the wind behind us, nice day for the sailors.  We are at the city dock, The Boathouse for a couple of days.  Burlington is a great small city, very bicycle friendly, pedestrian friendly, and full of UVM students

On the way, Ft. Ticonderoga, not accessible by boat -- should be

The lighthouse at Crown Point, at least it was indicated as such on our chart.

                                   

The Boathouse -- city marina -- you can perhaps see they are flying the Canadian flag, which we are beginning to see quite a bit now.

At sunset everyone comes down to the big riverfront park and boardwalk -- in this shot it doesn't look crowded but it was -- seems like everyone has a camera and is taking pictures of the

sunset, the boats, and each other--  us, too!

     

     

Maybe we'll get more pictures of Burlington before we leave, but we are not having good weather and the forecast is  even worse
