We didn't do anything special in Quebec, just being here is special, this is such a great city and I was thrilled to spend several days here.
We walked and walked, even in the rain, took a double-decker bus tour -- not in the rain -- that took us all around town and thru the lovely park, The Plains of Abraham, We walked up to the Citadel, did not take the mandatory tour but watched the changing of the sentinels. We visited the farmers market, skipped the fancy restaurants and ate in a couple of tourist restaurants (hard to avoid) and some small local eateries.
We had at least one meal each day with our boating buddies, Jerry and Janet, and have been enjoying their company. They are one dock over from us at the Marina. We all enjoyed the street musicians and watched a terrific acrobatic team; we visited Quebec's Museum of Civilization and had a wonderful tour there. I would love to stay another week, but we need to keep moving. Hope I get back here someday. The digital cameras allow us to take way too many pictures, so here are some in no particular order.

Michael contemplated buying this prop but not for long. .
and almost forgot the poutine. . .
Poutine is somewhere on almost every menu in Quebec -- its all over CA.
This is french fries, cheese curds, topped with gravy. I'v been eyeing for years, finally
decided to have some. Fortunately my cholesterol is low. Pretty tasty but I wouldn't
want to eat it often. Is this the Canadian national dish?
